Billing Details

You are billed based on the number of users marked as Enabled on the User Management screen. You can get to this screen by logging into the Admin module and clicking User Management at the top. You are not charged for users marked as Disabled or Login Disabled. You are also not charged for Client Portal users. When we use "month" to explain billing, it generally refers to the monthly payment cycle and may not start on the first of the month.


Users are billed pro rata

Examples:

  1. If your free trial is ending, and you have 10 users marked as Enabled, you will be billed $100 at the start of your first month.
  2. If there were no users added or removed the previous month, and you have 10 users at the start of the month, you will be billed $100.
  3. If you start with 10 users and add a user in the middle of the month, you will not immediately be charged for the user added. Your next bill would be $115, since it's 11 users plus half a month for a user.
  4. If you start with 10 users and disable a user in the middle of the month, your next bill would be $85, since it's 9 users minus half a month for a user for which you essentially prepaid.


Storage

You get a terabyte (1000GB) of storage data free for your organization for attachments. After that, it's $12/TB/mo for each additional terabyte. This additional fee is currently calculated as a manual process on our end, and we typically only charge for storage of pictures and video. If something looks unusual to us such as large zip files being added, it may be included as well.


Cancellation

Cancelling your subscription to Orna is easy. Simply go to into the Admin module, click Payment Management, and then click Cancel Subscription. A popup will let you optionally enter in a reason, and you can click Cancel Subscription to finalize your cancellation. We would love your feedback to improve Orna and would appreciate any such feedback you give us. Since you pay at the beginning of the month, you still get the remainder of the month you paid for. If you're doing a free trial, you will still get the remainder of your free trial period after cancellation.

Once again, we have been busy at Kerkton Security Technologies working on new features and updates to improve Orna. We are excited to announce the release of the Panic Button , which is our biggest new feature since the April update. Mobile module now has a "Panic" button at the top left that automatically creates a call with a "Panic" NOC when pressed. All available dispatchers in the Dispatch module will be alerted. The Panic Button will blink for the officer until the officer is cleared. From Dispatch module, dispatchers can press the Panic Button to view current panic calls. If there is only one panic call, the dispatcher will be automatically forwarded to the panic call. The Panic Button blinks in Dispatch module until the call is closed to help ensure safety of officers. There are some additional updates. Orna now has a Call for Service Audit Log , the ability to update Call Comments , a Command Line in Dispatch to quickly add a secondary location, full screen windows for assigned and unassigned calls in Dispatch In Progress Screen, Tours updates (tours management headers more intuitive, multiple tour stops can be added/removed from tour, multiple tasks can be added/removed from tour stops), version update notifications for if you are using Orna during an update (no downtime as before, but now you get a notification at the end of the update), and various bug fixes.
